Dallas, where I live in the north east of
Scotland. This is Main Street, which is in fact the only street! It is surrounded by farmland and apart from our local store, the nearest shops are ten miles away.

Kellas Kellas is the next village and it's even smaller than Dallas, but as you can see, it has its own red telephone box of a type now practically gone from England.

The Links used to be my local when I lived in the Hampshire village of Liphook.The 'Spreading Chestnut Tree' of the old song is close by.

Parts of Scotney Castle in East Sussex are six hundred years old and the rest is a 19th century 'folly', but no less beautiful for that.
