Kinloss Abbey, Moray

Spynie Palace, Moray. This ruin is now three miles inland, thanks to
drainage canals cut by the Victorian engineer Thomas Telford. In its
heyday it had its own harbour.

River Shin, a salmon river in Sutherland. Sutherland is in
the most northern part of mainland Scotland. It was once
the southern part of the Viking empire - hence the name.

Dyke, Moray. Having lived in Dallas, Kellas and Quarrywood,
we've finally bought our own house in this beautiful little village,
and I can't see us moving anytime soon.
